Welcome to my practice! If psychiatric symptoms are causing you pain and limiting your life, I want to help. I offer telepsychiatric medication management services to adult patients (ages 18 years+) who reside in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, and Washington state. Specialties include treating members of Sexual and Gender Minorities / 2SLGBTQIA+, emerging/young adult populations, creative professionals, and educators. I bring to clinic an abiding commitment to offering my patients kind, affirming, personalized psychiatric care. I do not prescribe controlled substances. The practice is in-network with select insurance companies in CA, IL, MA, NY, OR, and WA. I also accept self-pay patients from CA, IL, MA, NY, OR, and WA who may be able to collect reimbursement from their insurance companies, if they have out-of-network benefits.
I have experience supporting adolescents and young adults struggling with relationship challenges, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, emotion regulation, life transitions/adjustments, and adoption. It would be my privilege to come alongside you as you explore, identify, and work to resolve the root of your challenges, as you author new narratives for yourself and your experiences, and as you develop skills for relief and resilience. I work from an attachment and trauma-responsive lens. I am trained in Brainspotting and am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional. My approach is eclectic: I draw on skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapies, narrative therapy, and somatic therapy.

We are a multidisciplinary group of experienced clinicians. Are you in need of a therapist who will be with you during difficult times like relationship issues or emotional trauma? Our Therapists can be that helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive professional that you need. We offer counseling that promotes increased self-awareness, understanding and a state of well-being in individuals, couples, and families. Our therapeutic techniques include exploring repetitive themes, recurring situations, familial, and behavioral patterns to assist you in developing more effective methods of relating to yourself and others.
Trauma recovery involves the process of healing both the body and mind from overwhelming experiences by reconnecting with oneself in an integrated way. It includes developing interoception—the ability to sense and interpret internal bodily cues—which helps individuals notice and respond to their emotional and physical states with greater awareness and regulation. Recovery also involves working with both implicit memories (unconscious, body-held responses like tension or startle reflexes) and explicit memories (conscious, narrative recollections of events). Through therapeutic approaches that access these memory systems, individuals begin to make sense of their experiences, reduce reactivity, and create new, safer associations, allowing for a more grounded and empowered sense of self.

My approach is rooted in authenticity, warmth, and genuine collaboration, creating a space where you feel truly heard and supported. I believe in meeting you where you are, honoring your unique journey, and working together to foster growth and healing. I use mindfulness approaches, tailoring tools to meet your specific needs. Whether you're navigating challenges like anger, anxiety, boundaries, codependency, grief, life transitions, men’s issues, or trauma—or seeking support in relationships, stress management, or substance use—my goal is to help you move toward clarity and resiliency. At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of connection. Together, we’ll create a space where healing is possible. I help by fostering trust and building a strong therapeutic alliance. College is a time in life where individuals face a lot of challenges as they transition from teens to adults. My office work with individuals struggling with these life transitions, anxiety, OCD, stress, trauma, and emotion regulation/ and/or highly activated individuals.
College is often the first time you are forced to build your own foundation. I specialize in helping young adults navigate massive life transitions, from foundational relationship building (premarital and early commitments) to processing historical trauma in a safe, paced environment. I also offer specialized, neutral counseling for students experiencing spiritual dissonance or shifting belief systems as they face possible separation from their childhood frameworks. My goal is to help you establish a deeply grounded, resilient identity for the rest of your adult life.
Do you find yourself in a constant state of worry? Concerned about work, school, financial security, future plans? Therapy can help you take control of your mental health, learn new ways to manage stress, improve interpersonal relationships and gain self-confidence. Seeking support and asking for help is the first, and often the most difficult, step in the healing journey. I celebrate this step with you, and I am honored you are here. In my work with clients I strive to create a warm and genuine connection that provides a sense of partnership. Together we will highlight the strengths, identify the challenges and navigate the waves of change, helping you reach the sense of well-being you are desiring. I provide a safe and accepting space to explore, grow and heal. My work with clients is collaboratively built with individual goals in mind and modalities that fit best. My practice is welcoming and inclusive to all. I look forward to connecting with you!
Do you feel guilty or second-guess yourself when you try to set boundaries? If life feels overwhelming, stressful, or confusing, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a supportive, collaborative space where you can explore your story, feel understood, and find clarity. Whether you’re wrestling with anxiety, stress, unresolved trauma, or lingering guilt around setting boundaries—that’s where I come in. If you grew up with emotionally immature parents or without strong emotional modeling, those early patterns may still be shaping your relationships and self-esteem today. Together, we’ll work through these experiences so you can make clearer choices, strengthen boundaries, and build healthier connections. While we might talk about difficult things, I bring warmth, patience, and humor into our work—because healing does also include kindness and light as well as depth. If this resonates, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation—no pressure, just a chance to see if working together feels like a good fit. Call or Email to get started.
I specialize in trauma therapy, with extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual violence and other traumatic experiences. If you’ve been through something overwhelming, it can feel like a fog has settled over you, affecting every part of your life. You might find yourself overthinking, being on edge, shutting down, or feeling numb, even when you want to feel present and connected. Many people I work with feel stuck in this space and are unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll work to understand and process your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences so they no longer hold the same power over you. I use EMDR and other approaches to help you address what’s at the core of your symptoms. Feeling safe and understood is essential to this work. We’ll move at a pace that’s manageable for you, creating a space where you can show up as you are without pressure or judgment. While this is a vulnerable process, it’s also what allows for deep, lasting healing. Therapy can help you relate to yourself with more clarity and compassion, develop new patterns, and move toward the life you want to live. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, connected, and fully yourself—and to feel more in control of your life—I invite you to reach out. We’ll start with a conversation and see if working together feels like a good fit.

Welcome to my practice. College is a massive transition-- a time of building new independence, finding where you belong, and figuring out who you are going to become. It can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and stressful. I am a licensed clinical psychologist here to help you with it all. My practice centers on Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). This is a collaborative, real-world approach focused on your relationships and daily life. Together, we will look at how your connections-- with roommates, family, partners, or professors-- impact how you feel, and work on communication tools to help you set boundaries, resolve conflicts, and feel heard. Outside of my clinical work, I serve as a board member for Rose Children's Theatre. That background means I deeply value creativity, authentic expression, and the power of storytelling. I know that life can sometimes feel like a performance where you are forced to play a role that doesn't fit. In our sessions, there is no script and no audience. It is a completely authentic, judgment-free place to explore your thoughts and build self-confidence. Whether you are dealing with burnout, relationship drama, identity questions, or deeper questions of meaning, you don't have to figure it out alone. Let's work together to write your next chapter.

Each individual client’s support team is carefully tailored to help them meet their goals. Our providers use a trauma-informed approach. Trauma can be an invisible wound that can affect many parts of our lives we don’t even realize. I work with clients with depression, anxiety, adoption triad concerns, and trauma-related issues. Change can be hard. Having the courage to reach out and discuss your inner pain and anxiety is the first step. I want to help you work through your past painful experiences, feelings of shame, and traumatic events so that you can create a new life path. I believe each person has their own pace, and am willing to find therapies and strategies that work for you. My approach is open-minded, trauma-based, cognitive, and holistic. I started my career in psychology and counseling when I experienced a suicide in my family. It gave me the courage to make changes for myself, and help people around me who were also suffering grief, loss, and depression. I’m an advocate of mental health issues, a proud adoptee, and a supporter of the arts. **I only accept insurance in the state of North Carolina**
